Happiness is… being in a team!

What a great time we all had on Sunday afternoon at the club. The weather couldn’t have been better, the format worked really well and there was plenty of team spirit to be had too.
Thank you to Steve Smith who organised a great event, to Janet Thomas who provided some much needed tea and cake at the end, and of course congratulations go to Team Yellow (the Chairman’s team!), who were the eventual winners. Our win was definitely helped by having a young mascot cheering us on – thank you to the Hunts young and old!
Fear not if you missed out on Sunday, this is an event we will be repeating in the future.
There were a good few leaves on the courts on Sunday following the recent weather. If anyone would like to volunteer to help clear some of the leaves, please do get in touch with our facilities man, Mike Thomas. We also have a marvellous court sweeper which Mike would be only too happy to show you how to use. As they say, many hands make light work…
